Fair Use Policy

At ByteMyTech, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality IT solutions and support to all our clients. To ensure a consistent, fair, and secure experience across our services, we have established this Fair Use Policy. It defines responsible usage and helps prevent activities that could negatively affect service performance or availability for others.

What is Fair Use?

Fair use refers to reasonable and responsible use of ByteMyTech services in line with typical business operations. This means leveraging our IT support, managed services, or technology solutions in a manner consistent with how the average clinic, office, or organization would use them.

For example:

Requesting IT support within normal business needs

Using provided tools, software, or communication systems as intended

Following best practices for network and data security

The objective of fair use is to ensure all clients receive uninterrupted, effective, and secure service.

Examples of Unfair or Excessive Use

Certain behaviors fall outside fair use and may impact service delivery for other clients. These include, but are not limited to:

Generating excessive support requests beyond normal operational needs

Unauthorized sharing or resale of ByteMyTech services to third parties

Running high-bandwidth or resource-heavy activities that disrupt network stability

Using our systems for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes (e.g., malware distribution, hacking attempts)

Bypassing security measures or attempting unauthorized access to systems or accounts

Such practices are strictly prohibited as they compromise service quality, security, and fairness for all users.

Monitoring and Enforcement

To safeguard service performance, ByteMyTech monitors usage patterns and system behavior. If usage appears to exceed reasonable levels or falls outside the boundaries of fair use, we may:

Contact you to discuss the issue

Suggest adjustments or service upgrades better suited to your needs

Limit, suspend, or terminate services in cases of continued or severe violations

Our goal is not to restrict legitimate use but to maintain quality, fairness, and security for all clients.

Policy Updates

ByteMyTech reserves the right to update or modify this Fair Use Policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page along with the updated effective date. Continued use of our services after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
